One of the three founding Houses, established in the metropolis of Budapest. A specialized house that focuses on intrigue through the indulgence of carnal pleasures. It quickly rose to prominence and infamy throughout Europe and Asia as its specialization proved surgically efficient against the rising business elite and syndicate royalty. Since its founding, the house has branched into nearly every corner of the earth, providing every service available, though it is still regarded as the premier House for intrigue services through hedonistic indulgence.
Madonna Oriente:
Madonna Oriente, the Ghost of Luna, the Temptress of the East, the Matriarch of the House of Weeping Gomorrah. She has many names, many shadows of selves, come and gone and still present. One of the infamous Throne Breaker Three, whose legends were born in the metropoles of Budapest, though her scars predated that time, to a shadow of herself, rumored to be Luna Bellegante. Luna, the mother of Prima Ceiba, the pharmaceutical that unlocked immortality for mankind, or at least the mankind that could afford it. The same Luna who was assassinated on the eve of her 28th birthday at the command of Samsara Medical’s CEO, so he could complete his hostile takeover of her company, La Ceiba. It is perhaps fitting, then, that 5 years after her death, her ghost waltzed into his private offices in all the trappings of a high-end call girl, not a minute older than the day she had died.
Surveillance of the assassination of Arjun Patel, CEO of Samsara Medical, shows Luna brought into the private quarters of Mr. Patel, who minutes later turns from his work ready to indulge in his evening entertainment only to recoil in fear, stammering, “You… you are dead! How can this be?!?”. The woman with cold indifference produces a silenced pistol from her clutch, saying in Italian, “Yes. But it seems my ghost has finally caught up to you”. The trigger is pulled, and her escape is made.
Madonna Oriente was known in The Throne Breaker Three for her unwavering ambition, whose allure and intrigue were only rivaled by her sharp intellect. She would use all three to accomplish her missions. For her, there was never a “too far”. These qualities, she passed down to her House, the House of Weeping Gomorrah, and they have become its tenants. A blade, most efficient, against the elite who will always have an appetite and a weakness for their indulgent taste. Give to the emperors of this earth whatever they desire and take, so much more, from behind their backs. This is the House of Weeping Gomorrah
